Born in the Dark Peak in 2014, it’ll be no surprise that Dark Ventures was founded on a love for climbing and the world it opens up for climbers. For founder, Pat, what could be better than spending every day in an industry you love, on a quest for hidden climbing gems that you get to share with like-minded people?
While there’s no shortage of quality climbing products out there, designed and manufactured by innovative passionate brands, it became clear to Pat how challenging it is for gyms and retailers to access them.
Dark Ventures was born with a dual purpose; to discover and promote brilliant products from brands full of heart, and at the same time reduce the friction felt by gyms and shops eager to use and sell them.
